Meditya Wasesa is a faculty member at the Decision Making and Strategic Negotiation – Research Group, School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung (SBM-ITB). He obtained his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, the Netherlands. His PhD research was funded by the Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM) and Almende BV. He earned his M.Sc. in Logistics Engineering from Duisburg-Essen University, Germany and his Bachelor of Engineering (S.T.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia. His research interest focuses on the applications of advanced information systems (e.g. agent-based inter-organizational systems, business intelligence systems, predictive analytics, business process management, applied artificial intelligence, decision support systems, etc.) to improve business decision making. His research works have been published in notable academic journals such as: Journal of Enterprise Information Management and the Decision Support Systems.

Previously, he worked for several notable institutions in Europe such as, General Motors Europe GmbH, Rotterdam School of Management, and Almende BV). In Indonesia, he has handled several consultancy projects for a number of renowned private and state-owned companies (BUMN) in different sectors such as, e-commerce, fast-moving consumer goods, airport operators, construction industries, etc.
