The Finnish Ambassador for Indonesia, Kai Sauer, held a Launching of new Dual Degree MBA program designed by Aalto School of Business (Finland) and SBM ITB (Indonesia). “Learn new thing, develop skills, do networking globally, meet new people, and learn different culture. That’s the value added that you can get by joining our dual degree program, GLEMBA,”stated by Dr Reza Ashari Nasution as the Director of MBA Program on the Launching of GLEMBA at the Finnish Ambassador Residence, Jakarta (26/9/2012).

Collaborated with the Executive Director for Aalto Asia Pacific, Kati Illikainen, Reza further explained about the details of GLEMBA Program. They also explain about the cross culture that would be experienced. “Student can enjoy a maximum of four free exchange modules in any location that Aalto is offering. Our current locations in addition to Jakarta and Singapore are Finland (Helsinki), Poland (Poznan), and Taiwan (Taipei),”says Kati.

Beside the presentation of GLEMBA, this event also presented the alumni sharing session. Currently works at Nokia as Head of Customer Care, Fawzy Ishak, shared his ‘bootcamp’ learning journey with Aalto. Meanwhile, Pieter Wijaya as the MBA ITB alumni highlighted curriculum and networking as the reasons why he joined the program. Pieter currently serves as National Sales Manager for Shell.

At his closing, Ambassador Kai invited the audiences from industries as well as individuals to join the program as he was convinced that Aalto and ITB had made an excellent program to satisfy the needs of global business. The first GLEMBA class would be held in January 2013 while closing application points out 13 November 2012. With the concept of weekend class, GLEMBA invites you to learn, lean, and LEAD.
