Keluarga Mahasiswa SBM ITB (KMSBM ITB) is back to held a Road to Entrepreneur event on Saturday, January 26, 2013, 10.00 AM ? 12.00PM at the Cahaya Garuda Convention Hall Giant Pasteur, Jl. Dr. Djundjunan 126-128. Committed to the visions of developing entrepreneurial spirit of ITB students, the KMSBM Entrepreneurship division initiated the event to implement programs to achieve those goals. To be an entrepreneur is a choice, but having an entrepreneurial spirit is necessary to accomplish great success in work and life.

This event aims to raise interest of younger generations in entrepreneurship as well as to develop leadership potential and emphasizes the importance of leadership and creativity to enrich business outlook. Road to Entrepreneur event consists of entrepreneurship seminar for students in Bandung, ITB in particular and followed by One Day with Businessman, an exclusive sharing session with prominent business executives and entrepreneurs.

Seminar of Yang Muda Yang Berkarya presents various speakers of creative entrepreneur, technology entrepreneur, culinary entrepreneur and motivator. The first speaker of this event is Dahlan Iskan, the CEO of Surabaya-based Jawa Pos and Jawa Pos News Network, has served as PLN Director since December 2009, and since October 2011 was appointed as the State Minister of Badan Usaha Milik Negara.

Another speaker at the event was Bong Chandra, Number 1 Motivator in Asia, born in Jakarta and at the age of 25 he became an entrepreneur and popular motivator in Indonesia. In 2010, he earned the title of youngest motivator in Asia. He often held motivational seminars in various cities and wrote a book titled Unlimited Wealth.

Henky Eko Sriyantono or better known as Cak Eko also presents as a speaker at this event. He is a culinary franchise entrepreneur with business of Bakso Malang Kota Cak Eko and since franchised in early September 2006, it already has 155 franchise outlets. His persistence has earned several awards such as First winner Wirausaha Muda Mandiri 2008, First winner Bisnis Indonesia Young Entrepreneur Award 2008 Kategory Utama, ISMBEA Award 2007, Indonesian Creative and Innovative Award 2007, The Winner Indonesian Franchise Start Up 2009, The Best in Business Prospect Indonesia Franchise Start-up Award 2008.

The one and only female speaker at the event was Nurana Paramitha Indah, 25 years old chairwoman of HIPMI Bandung and CEO of T-Files, strives as young entrepreneur since she was an Oceanography student at ITB. Along with several friends, she assembled marine current turbine and participated in various competitions. After winning the competition, BUMN bought some of the shares of T-Files work.
