Kellogg Innovation Network (KIN) ASEAN Forum 2013 was held at Markplus’ main campus – The Philip Kotler Theater yesterday (11/12/13) in Jakarta. Within this event, Dean Prof. Sudarso Kaderi Wiryono was pleased to have the award for splendid innovation in which presented by Robert C. This award was given due to SBM ITB’s success in establishing the entrepreneurship program by using an innovative approach. “In the next future, we will cooperate with USM Malaysia and AIM Philippine for International MBA program like our dual degree program with Aalto University. this award is also a gift to the 10th Anniversary of SBM ITB and we are really proud,” said the Dean after receiving the KIN award.
With the topic on “The Future of Innovation Toward ASEAN 2015”, this event was participated by distinctive speakers such as Kuntoro Mangkusubroto (President’s Delivery Unit for Development Monitoring and Oversight), Gita Wirjawan (Ministry of Trade of the Republic Indonesia), Hermawan Kertajaya (Markplus), Peter Weidner (BP – Castrol Regional), Gan Soon Kiat (Castrol Indonesia), as well as Associate Professor Hooi Den Huan from Nanyang Technological University together with Chief Marketing Officers from most companies, and many more.
To present the Innovation Panel, SBM ITB together with SolBridge International School of Business from Woosong University, shared their innovative strategy in education. This session was moderated by Sherman Lam from Hongkong Institute of Marketing.
To represent SBM, Jakarta’s Director Dr Yos Sunitiyoso shared about the challenges on how to establish business school in engineering university and also deliver a story about MBA program at SBM since 1991. He then enclosed the presentation with the establishment of SBM Jakarta Campus. “Jakarta campus was aimed to meet the concept of our downtown campus which emphasized on strategic infrastructure, world class education, and outstanding outputs,” said Yos.
