On Wednesday, May 21, 2014, Bachelor Program of Entrepreneurship, SBM ITB officially presents its first lecture titled The First Journey of Bachelor Program of Entrepreneurship at SBM-ITB auditorium. The talk show invites three guest entrepreneurs, Perry Tristianto (King of Factory Outlet & Founder of Floating Market), Feny Mustafa (Founder of Shafira Boutique), and Intan Saraswati (CEO of www.kirim.co.id).

Attended by SBM ITB entrepreneurship students, SBM ITB entrepreneurship lecturers, Director of Bachelor Program of Entrepreneurship, Wawan Dhewanto, Ph.D, Sabar Situmorang (Owner of Rockets), Komarudin Kudiya (Founder Batik Komar), and Budi Raharjo and moderated by Dwi Larso, Ph.D, the talk show discusses students’ motivation to start a business and characteristics needed to be a successful entrepreneur. It is fair to say that money as the prime reason of being an entrepreneur, but Perry Tristianto and Fenny Mustafa agrees that besides taking it to ourselves, we should also give back to society. As for the characteristics of entrepreneur, it is essential to have willingness to learn and never give up, focus at your target market and be patient.
As emphasized by Dwi Larso, Ph.D, besides class lectures, in Bachelor Program of Entrepreneurship, students will be regularly tutored by business mentors who are entrepreneurs from various businesses where students will be able to gain knowledge and experiences directly from real entrepreneurs.
