Programs TOP 20 Creative Products Bandung is a program that focuses on creative SME sector in the city that aims to produce 20 categories of Bandung’s leading creative products that will enrich Bandung as a creative city. We currently have approximately 50 SMEs representing Bandung TOP creative product. Then in the total of SMEs are more than 120 SME participants.

Both of these programs serve as a flagship program by Mr. Ridwan Kamil (Mayor of Bandung), who wants to improve and facilitate the development of human capital for SMEs with an integrative and intensive approach in order to create a new wave of democratic economy based on SMEs and more sustainable and self-sufficient creative industries. The program held from June 2014 until March 2015.

Program activities include survey of SMEs needs, determining treatment for SMEs (mentoring, market access, events and exhibitions link, training, business pitching, entrepreneurs’ community) and also the book making of Klinik UKM BDG and Top 20 Creative Product Bandung. Our book-making process will include curators’ team, editors, designers and proofreaders. The main results we expect from these activities are SMEs will be able to develop and growth, transfer knowledge from our books & videos for those who have not participated on this event yet, and lastly, cooperation with various parties in the future, including providing policy inputs to the government, especially related to the creative industries.
