TECHNOPRENEURSHIP SEMINAR(Bandung, 29/10/14) Aligned with national development vision as set forth in the Act No. 17 year 2007 on the National Long-Term Development Plan 2005-2025, the vision for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesian Economic Development is “Creating an Independent Indonesian Society, Forward, Just and Prosperous.” Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesian Economic Development organized based approach to the development of centers of economic growth, both existing and new. The core of this approach is the integration of sectoral and regional approaches. Goal of developing centers of economic growth is to maximize profits agglomeration, to explore the potential and advantages of the area and improve the spatial imbalance of economic development of Indonesia. Development of centers of economic growth by developing industrial clusters and Special Economic Zones (SEZ). Overall, the centers of economic growth and connectivity creates Indonesian Economic Corridor. Improvement of the economic potential of the region through economic corridor has become one of the three main strategies (main pillar) (MP3EI, 2011-2025).

Economic Corridor Development Java has a theme of Pusher Industry and Services Special Nasional. The strategy of Java Economic Corridor is to develop industry that supports water conservation and environmental carrying capacity. In economic corridor development must be accompanied by the strengthening of innovation clusters as a center of excellence in order to support the increased ability to innovate to improve competitiveness. Development center of excellence that will be integrated with industrial clusters (MP3EI, 2011-2025).

On Wednesday, 29 October 2014, MP3EI Research Team SBM ITB held a Technopreneurship seminar at SBM ITB Jatinangor themed “Technoindustry Development Strategy in Indonesia” with speakers from academia, Wawan Dhewanto as MP3EI researchers, Technoindustry practitioner Rudi Suteja (Cimahi Creative Director Association), Aditia Dwiperdana co-founder of Agate Studio, Toto Suhendro founder Togapuri, and Poppy Sofia Koeswayo from the Financial Services Authority. This Technopreneurship seminar aims to socialize technoindustry developments and challenges in order to provide the knowledge and strategies to face challenges.Development of centers of economic growth by developing industrial clusters and Special Economic Zones (SEZ).
