This program is collaboration among MBA-ITB, Career Service, Industrial & Alumni Relations division, and CIEL (Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership) at SBM-ITB. It is provided as the vehicle for MBA-ITB students to apply their skills and knowledge and contribute to the business community as business and management consultants for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bandung and the surrounding areas. Young Professional students are positioned as consultants; they will provide service to help SMEs solve their business-related problems in order to grow SME’s businesses. In addition, this program is also to demonstrate the student’s ability to the public in dealing with real business cases, as well as to be a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activity of MBA-ITB.

This event was opened by Mr. Reza Ashari Nasution as director program of MBA-ITB and Mr. Donald Lantu as director of CIEL on Thursday, October 23rd, 2014 on the 4th floor in Seminar Room Pertamina building. Mr Reza and Mr Donald gave explanation in detail about this program, followed with discussion session and division of group by CIEL team. According to Mr. Reza, he believes that this program will be useful for further improvement of the students’ career, especially when they are called upon to develop new business in their company as well as within their own business in the future. In addition, this activity is also one step in developing the entrepreneurial ability of its leadership as expected from an MBA graduate of ITB.

Currently the business clinic is more attractive that we collaborate with Klinik UKM Bandung which is a flagship program from Ridwan Kamil (Mayor of Bandung). Therefore, students will get some additional benefits such as serving certificate of entrepreneurial activities that will be signed by entrepreneurs, MBA ITB, and also Ridwan Kamil, getting trophy for best student contribution to SME participants, and getting an invitation to attend the closing of program with Ridwan Kamil, Moazzam Malik (British Ambassador), Y. Deden Hidayat (Kadin Chief Bandung), Erik. M. Ataurik (Head of SME and Indag Bandung), Fiki Satari (Chairman Bandung Creative City Forum) and the other creative industries.
