DSC_6201Aimed at exposing business students to international dimensions, SBM ITB with HEC-ULG (University of Liege in Belgium) organized ‘Young Business Ambassadors’ program (also called the EXPLORT BUSS program). Located in Kresna Lobby SBM ITB Building Ganesha Campus, the two days workshop (7-8 September 2015) is attended by 21 students from HEC and 17 students from SBM. The facilitators are Aff. Prof. Eng. Marc Deschamps from HEC-ULG who also the Managing Director of HALAL CLUB – BRUSSELS and Dr. Naser Alziyadat from Durham University, England who also Special Advisor Halal Club for ASEAN region. They facilitate the participants to involved in many activities such as below:
1.Cross-cultural Exchange
2.Teamwork Simulation
3.Perspectives Sharing on Halal Business
4.Presentation of Companies Represented by Students

The main goal is to make the two business schools get closer to each other and to create conditions for potential matching between the selected companies. They are divided into groups of three main industries:
1.Food & Drinks (Petra Food, Ultrajaya, Kecap Sedap, Sosro, Kopi Luwak)
2.Environment/Service (Sanbe Farma, GAEA Architect, Amazing Farm, Papyrus Sakti, Shafira)
3.Cosmetic/Medical (ABN Medical, Wardah Cosmetic, Prodia, Mustika Ratu, Kalbe Farma).

At the end, each group will present the best potential ‘matchings’ identified and classified depending on feasibility, creativity and societal impact.

A jury of professors will select the best propositions and the winners will receive a trophy during the Princely Mission presided over by the Crown Princess Astrid of Belgium to Bandung, next spring 2016.
