Indonesia-Japan Symposium on Management of Technology (MoT) 2015 is a symposium that is held through cooperation between Institut Teknologi Bandung (SBM ITB) and Yamaguchi University Management of Technology (YUMoT). MoT symposium was provided opportunity to experience sharing (lesson learned) related to technological management implementation in Indonesian and Japanese companies in the sectors that have become Indonesia’s mainstay (manufacturing, telecommunication, oil and gas, agro industry and maritime).Indonesia-Japan Symposium on Management of Technology (MoT) 2015 is a symposium that is held through cooperation between Institut Teknologi Bandung (SBM ITB) and Yamaguchi University Management of Technology (YUMoT). This symposium held on September 10th 2015 at Mercure Hotel, Setia Budi Bandung. The event was opened by Vice Rector of ITB on Resources and Organization, Prof. Dr. Irawati, MS.
Divided into two sessions, which are main session and parallel session. The main session is presentation for the keynote speakers:
- Prof. Dr. H R Agus Sartono, MBA (Deputy of Coordinating Minister of Human Development and Culture on Education Religion)
- Dr. Ir. Agus Puji Prasetyono (Expert Staff to The Minister of Human of Research, Technology and Higher Education on Relevancy and Productivity Affair)
- Prof. Fumio Itoh (President of ABEST21).
Parallel session started after lunch. In the discussion about MoT for the food and beverage industries, Mr. Hashimoto (JICA Expert) said “The important in management is judgement, pursuing global business strategy and conducting management or Kaizen”
Participant were enthusiastic to join this event. More than 200 participants attended the event from many companies, universities, and governments.
