Bayu graduated his bachelor from the Faculty of Art and Design, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) at 2006. He continued his study in School of Business and Management-ITB and earned his MBA degree in 2008. During his MBA study, Bayu founded a design company with his college friends. He joined School of Business and Management as an faculty member for the Interest group of Entrepreneurship and Technology Management in 2009.
