BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – Study and research that produces innovation are critical to fostering national independence to create solutions for various community needs. For the next five years, ITB has a Development Master Plan (RENIP) to develop Indonesia’s human and technological resources.

The Academic Senate  Regulations of ITB have been stipulated their research priorities, which are expected to significantly impact the people of Indonesia and the world. To build a foundation for developing research directions that support a superior scientific culture, ITB through LPPM has scheduled the ITB Research Program for the 2022 Implementation Year.

There are five categories of Research Programs held by ITB: World Top University Collaborative Research, Research on Capacity Building for Young Lecturers, Leading Development Research, ITB Leading Research, and ITB Internship Lecturer Research.

Eight Lecturers from SBM ITB succeeded in becoming awardees of the ITB Research Program funds 2022. On Friday, 28 January 2022, these results were announced through an official letter from the Institute for Research and Community Service ITB (LPPM ITB) regarding the Determination of the 2022 ITB Research Program Fund Recipients published on the official website of LPPM ITB.

Various titles and topics of numerous researches were carried out by SBM ITB lecturers. From research on the Intention of Involvement in the International Market of Indonesian Food Sector SMEs: Integrated Approach, Relevance of Blockchain Technology Applications in the Halal Industry, to the research on Identification of  Factors Affecting Consumers’ Intentions of Sustainable Use on Collaborative Lifestyle Online Platforms. In detail, two SBM ITB lecturers received funds for the World’s Top University Collaborative Research category and six lecturers for ITB Leading Research.

Lecturers of SBM ITB who are included for Collaborative Research of the World’s Top Universities are Dr Neneng Nurlaela Arief, S.E., M.A.B, and Meditya Wasesa, S.T., M.Sc., PhD. 

Furthermore, Dr Ir. Asep Darmansyah, M.Si., Evy Rachmawati Chaldun, S.E., M.Si., Prof. Reza Ashari Nasution, PhD., Santi Novani, S.T., M.T., PhD, Yos Sunitiyoso, S.T., M.Eng., PhD, and Prawira Fajarindra Belgiawan, S.T., M.Eng., PhD, received funds for the ITB Leading Research category.

The planned research activities launched by ITB are expected to be carried out smoothly and able to provide the most significant benefit to the community and the advancement of Management, Business, and Entrepreneurship in Indonesia and the world.
