Digital platforms are increasingly popular in business marketing. Many applications are suitable for digital marketing, such as e-commerce (Shopee, Lazada, Tokopedia), social media (Tiktok, Facebook, Youtube, Whatsapp, Instagram), and so on.

These platforms are developing and widely used in digital marketing media because many users make buying and selling transactions through digital platforms. The platform is considered more effective and efficient. This topic was discussed at the SBM ITB guest lecture on Friday, October 7, 2022, invited Maulana Muhammad Faisal, ST, the Chief Executive Officer of PT FS Indonesia Digital Media, at the 6th Floor Auditorium of the Freeport SBM ITB Building.

According to Maulana, the benefits of digital marketing are varied. These include connecting with consumers on the internet, generating high sales, and enabling real-time customer service.

 

Placing ads through Google Ads is relatively easy and flexible. However, it doesn’t mean business people don’t prepare marketing strategies to get the best results according to their goals. Maulana explained several applicable strategies, including market research, keyword research, and setting delivery time.

 

Maulana added one of the digital marketing methods developed by Google is Google Ads. Google Ads or Adwords itself is an advertising program. This program allows businesses to place advertisements on the top search pages, potentially bringing in a targeted audience. Specifically, businesses get several benefits from applying Google Ads, including getting a specific target audience, increasing traffic quickly and easily, and controlling advertising costs more.
