SBM ITB through The Greater Hub, held the second webinar at metaverse, SBM VERSE, on Friday (11/11/2022). With the topic of Introducing Products to the Market, this event invited Alpha JWC Ventures’ Investment Professional, Felicia Grace. Representatives of startups assisted by The Greater Hub and the SBM ITB community also attended this webinar.

According to Felicia, introducing the product to the market is important to attract consumers’ attention. In her presentation on “Go-To-Market Strategy”, Felicia mentioned that the identification can be started by selecting the target market. This is important because the product will be less desirable if the target market is not suitable. In addition, the product’s advantages must be considered to increase consumer interest. Business people must be able to determine the pain points that are the reason for the product being presented, which will be answered by-product value.

Felicia continued that, in product introductions, companies must also know how to position the product in the minds of customers through brand placement, which can be described as the extent to which the consumers think that the product is profitable, different, and credible.

“If these points have been prepared, we can develop a marketing strategy that suits our needs.” added the professional investor.

This activity received a positive response from the participants, one of which was Dinara Tsabita. According to her, this activity is interesting to participate because the implementation at SBM VERSE is a new alternative providing a new impression in the world of education.
