October 16, 2025

The Greater Hub, SBM ITB, is once again hosting the West Java MSME Coaching Clinic Program to support regional economic growth and enhance the competitiveness of local businesses. Now in its 14th batch, the program exemplifies SBM ITB’s commitment to fostering MSME transformation through practical and applicable business mentoring.

The opening of the MSME Coaching Clinic, held at Amphitheater 2, MBA ITB Campus, Bandung (10/15), brought together MSMEs from various cities in West Java, including Bandung, Bogor, and the surrounding areas. Of the 267 MSMEs that registered, 123 were selected to participate in the intensive mentoring program, led by 41 facilitators from ITB MBA students. The selected participants were those who demonstrated a passion for learning and a commitment to growth, two key criteria for the selection process.

Principal of the Greater Hub SBM ITB, Dina Dellyana, described the Coaching Clinic as a “doctor on call” for MSMEs. Mentors are available to provide solutions to the problems faced by MSMEs. For five weeks, MSMEs will receive intensive mentoring focused on strengthening business strategies, digitalization, and e-commerce development.

“This program is not only about business knowledge, but also a journey of building business resilience. We want MSMEs not only to survive but also to advance,” said Dina.

Donald Crestofel Lantu, a representative from SBM ITB, highlighted the importance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) adapting to digital advancements. The program begins by introducing the SMART method (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) to help MSMEs set measurable and realistic business goals. This initiative also reflects SBM ITB’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 8, which focuses on inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Through the West Java MSME Coaching Clinic Batch 14, SBM ITB reaffirmed its dedication to creating a real social impact through regional economic empowerment. The transformation of MSMEs is not merely an option; it is a necessity, and this journey starts with a community of learners eager to grow. Participants also had the opportunity to showcase their products, marking a significant first step in building business networks and collaborations.
