Navira wins first place in Student Founder Challenge with multifunctional hydration product

June 4, 2026

Navira, a startup developed by a group of students from the Integrated Business Experience (IBE) course at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), successfully won second place in the prestigious Student Founder Challenge (SFC) competition, part of the Ganesha Business Festival (GBF) 2026, held on Saturday (May 23) in Bandung. The Student Founder Challenge (SFC) is a national-level business competition designed to identify and develop the next generation of founders with high leadership potential.

Unlike typical business case competitions, SFC focuses on individual potential as founders, particularly their character, mindset, and ability to perform under pressure. Navira’s success in achieving second place demonstrates the capability of SBM students to execute business ideas that are not only creative but also grounded in strong, sustainable commercial fundamentals.

“This achievement at the SFC Ganesha Business Festival 2026 is a significant milestone for Navira. It is the result of the hard work of the entire team and a tangible validation that Navira’s business solutions are ready to compete in a broader market,” said Gareth, Navira’s CEO.

Navira is a local lifestyle brand that started with a multifunctional hydration product. With an integrated storage pouch, Navira makes it easy for users to carry bottles and other small items in one practical, stylish, and eco-friendly product.

Navira successfully convinced the panel of judges, comprising industry practitioners, investors, and senior academics, through a compelling pitch, a deep understanding of the target market, and a well-thought-out business execution strategy. This achievement is expected to inspire other students at ITB and beyond to take the plunge as entrepreneurs and create a real economic impact on the community.

Navira is expanding its business internationally. They participated as a race pack sponsor in the “Morning Miles: Plogging Fun Run 2026,” an event held by the New Hemangini Hotel in Bandung. Additionally, Navira set up a booth on the hotel grounds. During the event, they showcased their tumbler product line and provided live demonstrations to attendees, highlighting the durability and eco-friendly features of their products.
