Kurnia Fajar Afgani, S.AB., MBA., is a full-time lecturer at the School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung (SBM ITB), within the Business Risk and Finance group. With over a decade of professional experience in Islamic banking and multiple international certifications in risk management, finance, and business analytics, he integrates academic expertise and industry practice to deliver impactful contributions in teaching, research, and consulting.
His scholarly focus lies in Islamic Finance, Risk Management, and the Digital Economy, where he has published in Scopus Q1–Q3 journals and co-authored influential works. Highly cited publications include “Towards a Cashless Society: Use of Electronic Payment Devices among Generation Z” (Scopus Q2), “Political Connection and Corporate Social Responsibility: Evidence from Indonesia” (Scopus Q3), and “Artificial Neural Network to Develop Loan Default Predicting Model Using Social Media Data” (Scopus Q3).
