Profile

Nila Armelia Windasari is an Assistant Professor in Service Marketing at School of Business and Management – Institut Teknologi Bandung. She received her Bachelor in Accounting from Universitas Airlangga – Indonesia, MBA in Marketing from Asia University and PhD from the Institute of Service Science, National Tsing Hua University. She was also a visiting researcher at Hofstra University, NY – USA and Visiting Academic Development (VAD) Fellow at the Center of Asian Business and Economics, the University of Melbourne.

Nila holds Professional Certified Marketer® (PCM®) from American Marketing Association and a Certified Member MRS (Market Research Society), the UK, demonstrating combination of her academic rigorousness and practical expertise. She is also the member of the Center for Resilience Research – National Tsinghua University. Nila is also actively engage in service science community, serving as Track Chair in leading conferences (i.e. PACIS and HICSS) and Guest Editor for Discover Global Society (Springer Nature). Before going to academia, Nila was an external auditor in MAZARS Indonesia. She also was an academic tutor for Indonesia Open University (UT) – Taipei branch from 2013-2017.

Nila’s research interests lie in the broad areas of service research: technology-enabled service, service marketing, and customer experience to explore individuals’ behavior in experiencing technology to improve his/her wellbeing, applied into several areas including healthcare, education, and hospitality.
