Profile

Noorhan Firdaus Pambudi is a lecturer at the School of Business and Management, Bandung Institute of Technology. He teaches several courses, such as business statistics, operations and technology management, business data analysis, business research methods, decision-making, introduction to engineering and design, and introduction to computing. He took his undergraduate degree in industrial engineering at Parahyangan Catholic University, Indonesia, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2014. He continued his master's education in a double degree program from the Master of Management Science program at the School of Business and Management, Bandung Institute of Technology, and a Master of Engineering from the Industrial Administration program at Tokyo University of Science, Japan. He graduated with both master's degrees in 2016. In 2024, he graduated from the PhD program from the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Stavanger, Norway. Currently, he is still continuing his other doctoral studies at the School of Business and Management, Bandung Institute of Technology.

With an interest in research in the fields of supply chain, logistics, transportation, circular economy, waste management, and disasters, he is involved in various types of research and business consulting. Numerous international journals have published some of his research, including the International Journal of Emergency Services (doi: https://doi.org/10.1108/IJES-12-2020-0071), Case Studies on Transport Policy (doi: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cstp.2022.04.013), The Asian Journal of Shipping and Logistics (doi: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ajsl.2022.04.001), Transportation Research Interdisciplinary Perspectives (doi: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.trip.2023.100810), and other national/international journals. In addition to research in the form of scientific articles, he is also involved in several consulting projects with private industries, governments, and state-owned enterprises, such as Indonesia's future mobility 2030 with Toyota, the influence of ride-hailing services for the development of public transportation with Grab Indonesia, and the assessment of Industry 4.0 readiness for the textile and downstream chemical industries from the Ministry of Industry. In addition to providing public studies for companies and governments, he has also engaged in management consulting to address internal operational issues at PLN and SKK Migas.
