This year, SBM ITB welcomes 395 undergraduate students

School of Business and Management ITB held an Introduction Day for the Undergraduate Students batch 2023 on Thursday (10/9/2020) through an online platform. Opened by Dean Prof. Utomo Sarjono Putro, SBM welcomed 395 new undergraduate students including International student from South Korea.

Aimed to introduce the students with the learning system and student affairs at SBM ITB, this event also introduced the Student Parents Association (IOM) as well as the Lembaga Tahap Persiapan Bersama (LTPB) to the students. Program presentation was delivered by Dr. Ira Fachira as the Director of Bachelor Management Program and Dr. Akbar Adhiutama as the Director of Bachelor Entrepreneurship Program while the issues related to academic and student services were delivered by Dr. Sonny Rustiadi.

Came to deliver the next session was the phenomenal Achmad Zaky of Bukalapak. As an alumnus of ITB, Achmad Zaky was telling the story about his life journey. He said that there was only one sentence that always came to his mind. “Do not be just a mahasiswa, go beyond,” the Bukalapak’s founder told the audience. This sentence was also one of the reasons for him to become a big entrepreneur.

The event was closed by a presentation from the Counseling Service delivered by Dr. Henndy Ginting talking about the physiological aspect of students’ performance.
