After eight months of the journey from national final to international final, Angela attended her international Final of L’oreal Brainstorm 2022 in Singapore. At The international final L'oreal Brandstorm 2022 in Singapore, July 2022, Angela Thrisananda and her friends in the Mon Soleil team won the global competition defeating 83.000 other competitors all around the world. L’oreal Brandstorm itself is a worldwide innovation competition that is open to everyone up to 30 Y.O. For the 30th Anniversary of the competition, teams will have 3 tracks to choose from in addition to a full learning path on Trailhead by Salesforce. Started by listening to a podcast, Mon Soleil goes on the Tech Track category with a hormone-based hyper-personalized skincare innovation called “HyperSync” representing Indonesia. “It is my first offline pitching, at the national level,” said Angela. Prioritizing and sorting out activity

Having her last year on SBM ITB, it is a matter of prioritizing for Angela to manage her expectations and sorting out activities to graduate on time. Thus, L’Oreal Brandstorm is the only competition she attended this year, after a hustle and bustle in the last two years of her university life.

Other than her own time, Angela and her friends need to manage their time together too. “We have different majors, different activities, so it’s difficult to match the schedule. To deal with this problem, we share schedules with each other, so if, for example, I’m busy with my thesis this week, we’ll change the schedule. Or if Yumna or Salma are busy with practicum, we work at night,” said Angela.

Don’t feel inferior, believe in your ideas

Going from the national final to the international final with 65 countries as their competitors, looking at the other ideas surely made them feel inferior. However, instead of eating the inferiority that they have, they keep striving and believing in their ideas. Thus, with the help of professionals from Bandung Institute of Technology and L’Oreal national and international team, Mon Soleil keeps on validating their ideas and enhance it into a great idea with its realization.
