Profile

Noorhan Firdaus Pambudi is a full-time lecturer at the School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung (SBM-ITB). He earned his PhD from the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Stavanger, Stavanger, Norway, in 2024. He also graduated from the doctoral program in management science at SBM-ITB in 2025. He received his M.Eng. in industrial administration from Tokyo University of Science, Japan, and another master’s degree in management science from SBM-ITB in 2016 through a double degree program. He finished his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering at Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Bandung, Indonesia, in 2014.

His research interests are circular economy business models, with the specific unit of analysis in plastic waste management. He also used various methodologies to conduct his research, such as multiple case studies, system dynamics, agent-based modelling, non-parametric statistics, and multivariate statistics. His research concerns the five-dimensional approach to sustainability (with the addition of institutional and technical for the current three pillars of sustainability: social, economic, and environmental) as
