Profile

Meditya Wasesa is an Associate Professor of Business Analytics at the School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (The Netherlands), an M.Sc. in Logistics Engineering from Duisburg-Essen University (Germany), and a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (Indonesia). His career includes international experience with organizations such as General Motors Europe, Almende BV, and the Erasmus Research Institute of Management, as well as executive, consulting, and training roles in Indonesia across sectors including logistics and transportation, e-commerce, manufacturing, petrochemicals, FMCG, energy, mining, and tourism. Within the university, he has held several leadership roles, including Chief Editor of the Asian Journal of Technology and Management (AJTM), Chairman of the International Conference on Management in Emerging Markets (ICMEM 2021), Interim Director of ITB Press, and currently serves as Internal Auditor of Institut Teknologi Bandung. His research, teaching, and professional work focus on leveraging advanced business analytics to improve operational, tactical, and strategic decision-making, and his publications have appeared in leading journals such as IEEE Access, Journal of Enterprise Information Management, Journal of Management Analytics, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Decision Support Systems.
