Gatot Yudoko is a Professor of Operations Strategy at the School of Business and Management (SBM), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia. He finished his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering at ITB in 1985, and a Master’s degree in Transportation at ITB in 1990. Through the State Ministry of Environment Republic of Indonesia he got an EMDI (Environmental Management Development in Indonesia) scholarship from CIDA (Canadian International Development Agency) to pursue and earn both his degree in Master of Applied Science at the Department of Management Sciences, Faculty of Engineering in 1993 and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Planning at the School of Planning – University of Waterloo (Canada) in 2000. He spent his career a lecturer in the Department of Industrial Engineering, ITB 1985-2005, and then has joined the School of Business and Management, ITB since 2025. His research interests include operations strategy, operations management, logistics and supply chain, sustainability, and technology policy in developing countries.
