Profile

Maya earned her Ph.D. in Business Management from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Padjadjaran, Bandung, in 2015. She continued her education in the Executive Education Program at MIT Sloan, School of Management, USA for Applied Business Analytics in 2020. In 2022, she was appointed as Deputy Director of the MBA Program at ITB Jakarta campus, and in 2023, she continued her role as Director of the MBA Program at ITB Bandung campus, serving until 2025.

In 2024, she joined the PPNK Batch 202 (Program for the Strengthening of National Values) organized by the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (Lemhannas RI). She earned MBA degree from the Institut Teknologi Bandung majoring in Business Management in 2007 and immediately joined as the lecturer of the interest group of Business Risks and Finance School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung (SBM-ITB).

In 2021 she was appointed as a Member of Business Risk and Good Corporate Governance Committee, PT. Angkasa Pura for 3.5 years. Previously she was dabbling in the world of engineering for 7 years after graduating from Universitas Islam Sultan Agung, Semarang with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 2002.

Her research interests in the areas of Financial Literacy, Corporate Finance, and Investment Management. She has produced a variety of publication in the form of scientific papers, popular articles and a book entitled: “Perencanaan Keuangan Pribadi: Intisari Pengetahuan dalam Merencanakan Tujuan-tujuan Keuangan untuk Mencapai Kehidupan yang Sejahtera”; “Buku Seri Literasi Keuangan Tingkat Perguruan Tinggi – Perencanaan Keuangan” with Indonesia FSA (OJK); “Islamic and Conventional Equity Fund Performance Comparison: An empirical study on Indonesian Stock Exchange” (LAP Lambert Publishing, Saarbrucken, Germany); “LAKU-Literasi Keuangan untuk UMKM; and “Manajemen Perencanaan Keuangan” (Prenada Publisher).
