Welcome to the website of the Triple Helix International Conference.

The Triple Helix Conference 2012 (THC-2012 ) will be held in Bandung, West Java Province, Republic of Indonesia, on 8 – 10 August 2012, organised and hosted by the School of Business and Management – Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).THC-2012 is fully supported by the Ministry of Research and Technology, as well as the Ministry of National Education, the Republic of Indonesia.

The main theme of the conference is “Emerging Triple Helix Models for Developing Countries: From Conceptualization to Implementation”.

The Conference will address as well as to facilitate debate and communication of ideas, methodologies and outcomes, all in order to innovate and influence the practice of policy making.

This Conference will address a range of critically important themes in the various fields that accommodate experience sharing and information exchanges about the complex and subtle relationships between the triple helix model, national innovation system, and community development in developing countries. Plenary speakers include some of the leading thinkers in these areas as well as numerous paper presentations.

The THC is a participants’ Conference. Approximately 400 participants – academics, policy makers and practitioners – from all over the world are expected to focus on Triple Helix implementations in developing countries. Participants are welcome to submit a presentation proposal either for a 30-minute paper or 60-minute workshop. Parallel sessions are loosely grouped into streams reflecting different perspectives or disciplines. We encourage all presenters to submit written papers to the Asian Journal of Technology Management, a fully refereed academic Journal.

The conference program consist a range of interactive activities:
