10402645_704254216277333_8627557158437113554_nOn May 12 – 16, 2014, School of Business and Management (SBM) – Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) was visited by delegation from Chiang Mai University (CMU) Thailand in order to participate in a Short Exchange Program. This group consisted of 5 Master degree students and 3 Faculties. The objectives of this program was to introduce Indonesian culture and learn about how to do business in Bandung. To achieve these objectives, the CMU participated in various kinds of activities such as visiting cultural places, following the lecture about Indonesian culture and how to do business in Indonesia, to discuss with mentors on how to develop a business plan, as well as to visit business sites to get direct experiences on how to do business and the character of the consumers in Indonesia. In addition, the CMU members were also introduced to the beauty of Indonesian nature through visiting tourism site in Ciwidey, West Java. During this program, all CMU members were accompanied by some of SBM ITB students so they could experiences a cross-cultural interaction.

At the end of this event, the students of CMU presented their business plans in order to get feedback and input about their business plan. For closure of this event, all the participant then received token and certificate from SBM ITB.
