It was not easy path for Garuda Sade Wibowo (SBM 2015, SBM ITB Ambassador) and Hafiz Hudani (SBM 2012) until they arrived in Lyon, France for the first time as Indonesian representatives on World Entrepreneurship Forum (WEFO) 2014. This forum engaged entrepreneurs community from 70 countries worldwide, held by Emlyon Business School from 20-22 October 2014. Entrepreneurship seminars and workshops, gathering dinner also investors pitching session were presented during this forum.
To be selected as representatives, every candidates required held an entrepreneurship forum event in their region, called Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum. The event was held in Cahaya Garuda Convention Hall, Bandung on 11 October 2014. Invited as keynote speaker Mrs. Mooryati Soedibyo (Mustika Ratu), Matheusz Rybinsky (Marketing Agency from Polandia), Alexander (HIPMI Pusat), Elim Cheuw (WEFO Singapore Representatives). Around 300 participants joined this session. After seminar session, Ms. Rizka, Wirausaha Muda Mandiri 2013 shared her experience grow her business. The event continue with entrepreneurs Talk Show from Aji (Tinker Games, also SBM Alumni), Ridho (Mahana Life), Timmy (kitabisa.com), Yuka (BRODO Owner).
To grab more knowledge about entrepreneurship, the forum continued with workshop session for Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bandung as participants. Invited as coach, SKHA Consulting about Strategy for SMEs, Nanno Business Partner about Motivation for SMEs, and MarkPlus about Marketing for SMEs. The event was held in SBM ITB Main Building, Bandung on 12 October 2014.
Successfully conducted the event, Hafiz and Garuda announced to represent Indonesia in WEFO 2014. Nothing worth having comes easy. Congratulation!
