Oddisey which is an abbreviation of the Opera and Drama Inspired by SBM ITB for Education and Charity is an annual event that already stretched up to eleven years of running. Oddisey is a part of Leadership and Management Practice’s curriculum for first year students that not only focus on the practice of management in theatrical act, but also how to amplify creative ideas into a one big successful show without setting aside the human aspect of it which is the charity that underlined in Oddisey’s goals.
Oddisey itself is organized by the first year of S1 SBM students and already continuously ran for eleven years. Eleven years isn’t a short time to organize a theatrical act scene that could be called successful. We also have various program such as coaching, workshop in lighting and makeup and develop a connections with external partners to make sure Oddisey run smoothly.
The theatrical act of Oddisey is differ from others. Uniquely Oddisey provides the audience with two big show in each includes Body Performance that focuses on choreographed dance moves, Romance Fantasy that brings drama to its edges, and Mimesis as the closure that serves audience great entertainment.
This year, Oddisey brings you Amortacus. Three words intertwine with each other, Amor (Love), Mortal (Human), and Orcus (Monster). Ghost Story acts as the theme of Amortacus with two show being presented.Firstly, it’s The Monstrous Night that falls in 26-27th March 2015 and The Wicked Witch in 28-29th March at DagoTeaterHouse which is located at Jalan Bukit Dago Utara No. 53 Bandung, Jawa Barat, 40135.
