As one of the media to create a climate of world-class research, SBM held a monthly scientific papers which will begin in November 2015. The monthly scientific oration is intended to introduce young lecturers SBM that are credible and noble which aspire to develop science and technology fields business and management.
The first opportunity will be presented by Andika Putra Pratama, Ph.D on Tuesday November 24, 2015. The title of his oration is “Homo Religiosus at Work: On Religiosity, Ethics, and Management”.

Each lecturer is required to prepare the manuscript scientific papers which have a positive impact on the scientific development of business and management with an effective presentation, communicative, and weighted.

Oration is a formal speech, or oral communication formally presented to the public as a lecturer in the form devoted to the science practiced for the advancement of science and technology. Oration as well as a form of truth and the development of science were cultivated, nurtured, initiated and nurtured by the person concerned.

The purpose of speech is to disseminate scientific thought and scientific contributions of lecturers, improve the quality of research, and motivate the lecturers to more actively in the development of science and technology. Scientific oration in SBM including to introduce lecturer who has reasonable and feasible identity in the development of business and management science.

The main characteristics manuscript scientific papers are: exposing the opinion and new thinking about theories, concepts, models, technologies, strategies, approaches, and recommendations based on research results or research experience of the lecturers concerned; contains analysis of a problem followed by a synthesis based on scientific principles; or a relevant impact on the policy relating to the field of science; based on the critical study not just of data collection or compilation of research results; and is not a guide but rather to review the scientific basis and philosophy.

In principle, the manuscript contains speeches: the essence of scientific work ever produced, the perspective of scientific development; individual contribution in the development of science and technology into the field of research, and public lecturer contribution in solving the actual problems faced by strategic or government and society.

The substance of the speech is essentially a manifestation of intention in developing science professor who practiced a form of expertise and contribution to the nation’s progress or world culture in general.

To facilitate the preparation, the draft scientific papers may consist of: the introduction or background, overview and / or development of the subject, the development of the research itself (including discussion of thinking, new ideas, and technical), prospects of development, conclusion, bibliography (which relevant), and biographies. Preferably manuscript written in English since it will be displayed on the page SBM. The number of pages for the core scientific speech maximum of 10 pages, excluding bibliography, curriculum vitae, and attachments.

Oration delivered within approximately 45 minutes, followed by questions and answers and suggestions to sharpen the focus of development in the future. Implementation of scientific papers are planned within 90 minutes. Participants speeches are lecturers and doctoral student of SBM ITB.
