Theme: “Entrepreneurship and Trade Opportunity in Asia Pacific”
Since the first of its existence in 2009, IICIES has successfully put forward conference’s themes which have always been synchronic with the current movement. The themes are ranging from the betterment of Indonesia at the first conference and focusing on the area of technopreneurship in small businesses at the second (2010). The third conference (2011) proposed the discourse of creative industries and looking at collaboration in the ASEAN markets for the theme of the following year (2012). Growing and developing small businesses into not only regional but also to the global market along with aiming towards business sustainability became the themes of the next two conferences, in 2013 and 2014 respectively. Two preceding conferences recognized the themes of the importance of digital technology (2015) and furthermore, looking at its social impact particularly in the ASEAN Economic Community (2016), and Entrepreneurship, Start-up, and Growing Business: The Role of Entrepreneurial Education and Nurturing Ecosystem (2017).
IICIES has been always involved the three pillars in the process of technology commercialization and small business empowerment: academics, business, and government. Researches will be focused on the areas of entrepreneurship, creativity & innovation, management of technology, leadership, and managing small business & start-up.
Papers
All papers will be invited to be published in our conference proceedings with ISSN number.
