IASM ITB (Ikatan Alumni Sains Manajemen, Bandung Institute of Technology) held the 1st Iftar Party on May 18th, 2019 at Delapan Padi Cafe, Bandung. In the good spirit of Ramadan, IASM ITB took the initiative to forge a bond between its members. The event was organized by Ms. Haifa Labdhagati (MSM 2018). In this event, MSM/DSM SBM ITB Members from various periods met each other for the first time (from 2006 batch- 2018 batch). Iftar party was opened by Mr. Achmad Fajar Hendarman and followed by a welcoming speech by Mr. Deddy Priatmodjo Koesrindartoto, Ph.D. as the former M.S.M. program director. In the meantime, discussion led by Mr. Achmad Fajar Hendarman was held to further develop IASM ITB core vision. It was a very lovely event. Many new faces were introduced, relationships were made, and friendly banter was exchanged in the festive of the Iftar party. It was a productive evening and a step forward in the formation of IASM ITB.
IASM ITB (Ikatan Alumni Sains Manajemen, Bandung Institute of Technology) was initiated on November 2018 through alumni gathering held by MSM/DSM (Master/Doctoral of Science in Management) SBM ITB study program which was led by Dr. Yunieta Anny Nainggolan. This gathering was attended by the Dean of SBM ITB, Prof. Dr. Sudarso Kaderi Wiryono and former directors of the MSM/DSM program. In this gathering, the IASM Formation Team was established. The team consisted of MSM/DSM alumni of each batch. After several meetings during December 2018 – March 2019, Dr.rer.pol. Achmad Fajar Hendarman, S.T, M.S.M. was appointed the chairman of IASM ITB. He initiated several meetings attended consisted of alumni members across different periods to formulate IASM ITB core vision, goals, and work plan.
Moreover, in effort to share our happiness in the holy month of Ramadan 1440 Hijriyah, IASM ITB also raised funds to donate to orphaned children foundation during the Iftar party. The fundraising was organized by IASM ITB social division and the fund was donated to Yayasan Teras Yatim Indonesia on May 23rd, 2019. It was a good beginning and the best is yet to come for IASM ITB. We hope to see you again in our next event!
