School of Business and Management Institut Teknologi Bandung (SBM ITB) is answering the challenges of industry 4.0 through the National Student Competition in Business, Management and Finance / Kompetisi Mahasiswa Nasional Bidang Ilmu Bisnis, Manajemen dan Keuangan (KBMK) on September 12-13, 2019 with the theme “Encouraging the Progress of the Business World Ecosystem with Innovations in Business, Management and Finance that Strengthen the Identity of Indonesia and Utilize Technology for the Welfare Nation”.
ITB Vice Chancellor for General Administration, Alumni, and Communication, Dr. Miming Miharja, ST, M.Sc.Eng appreciated this program. The competition provides opportunities for students to be creative and develop their innovations especially in the fields of business management and finance.
“We represent the ITB Rector, thanking the committee as well as the support of Kemenristekdikti including sponsors. This program is excellent. The results of this competition will develop many useful thoughts” Miming said at the West Hall of ITB, Bandung (9/13/2019).
He considered that the industry currently needs graduates who master IT systems such as artificial intelligence, the internet of things and big data analysis.
“Now, those are fundamental things or important requirements which must be mastered by students when they enter the industry,” said Miming.
