SBM ITB students won the 3rd place in the 13th IMOTION marketing plan competition held by the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia (FEB-UI) on Sunday (11/17/2019) at the University of Indonesia. The students consisted of Tiara Alunan Dhita (management 2021), Rivanny Savitri Village (Mangement), Muhammad Alif Fairuz (management 2021), and Ilham Zulfian Rahman (management 2021) who were members of the Glofydeiva team.

The Indonesia Marketing Competition (Imotion) is an annual event, which is one of the biggest marketing events for undergraduate students in Indonesia held annually by the management of student society (MSS) FEB-UI. IMOTION has three main events; Marketing plan competition, Advertising video competition, and marketing talk. Undergraduate students from various reputable universities in Indonesia participated in this event. The marketing competition surely gives the outstanding participants delightful experience. The marketing plan competition is a competition that challenges the participants to solve a case given by a company through creating a groundbreaking marketing plan that will be presented and judged in front of marketing experts, practitioners, and researchers. The participants will also be encouraged to improve their marketing skills by solving the challenging marketing case from IMOTION.

The competition stages consisted of registration, awarding cases, paper submissions, paper presentations, and marketing debate sessions. The Marketing Plan paper will be submitted to the committee and then judged. Five teams with the best Marketing Plan paper had the opportunity to present their marketing strategy ideas before the jury at the FEB UI Depok Campus. From the five best teams that made the presentation, three teams will be selected as the winners of the 13th Imotion Marketing Plan Competition. The Glorifydeiva team from SBM-ITB was chosen to be the third winner

 Tiara Alunan, one of the team members, is very grateful to have achieved this achievement. When interviewed by the SBM-ITB news agency, Alunan said “the competition was challenging, exciting, collectible, and cool. ITB students should do their best and let God do the rest, “Said Alunan.
