Due to the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia, SBM ITB is cancelling activities that involving the SBM communities massively such as Graduation, scientific oration, general studium, conference (National and International), workshop, seminar, School visitation, etc. This policy is implemented for helping the government in preventing the spread of the Corona Virus Disease pandemic (COVID-19).
This cessation of activities is based on the Circular letter of Indonesia Minister of Education and Culture No. 3 in 2020 about anticipating Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) and from Circular Letter of The Secretary of Indonesia Minister of Education and Culture on March, 12th 2020 to delay any activities that involving many participants.
Due to this Circular Letter, SBM ITB takes the same policy. So, as per March, 16th 2020, SBM-ITB students are required to join online classes as scheduled, and not allowed to enter SBM ITB campus areas (including Ganesha Campus, MBA Bandung Campus, Jakarta Campus, and Jatinangor Campus) and lecturers and staff are subjected to limited work hours i.e work from home followed by attendance to the office in roster according to the weekly schedule set.
Therefore, the SBM ITB leaders encourage Civitas SBM ITB to coordinate with each other to monitor every activity as an effort to anticipate the spread of COVID-19.
SBM ITB will inform every further provision about this policy and will review this issue in stages.
