On Thursday, June 25th, 2020, ITB held a community service program through the Webinar of “The New Normal of Financial Literacy: Boost your Life Skills During Covid-19 Pandemic.” The Webinar was held online through Google Hangouts, inviting three speakers from SBM ITB, Dr. Subiakto, MBA, CFP, CWM, Ahmad Danu P., Ph.D., CFP, CWM, and Dr. Sylviana Maya D., CFP, CWM, with Faqih Ahmad Muzakky acting as the moderator. The program held from 09.00 – 12.00 local time was free for all ITB students and people outside ITB and was attended by roughly 150 participants. The half-day Webinar discussed the method that participants can apply in managing the emergency fund and time value of money, insurance and retirement planning, and investment product and portfolio management.

Community services program is also conducted by Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS). On June 10, 2021, Capacity Building “Implementation of digital regional finance management: Digital transformation in public finance” was held at Syariah Hotel Solo attended by 35 participants of which 19 participants are Salatiga City Local Government officers. There 3 invited speakers from UNS Fintech Center (Dr. Aldy Fariz), Faculty of Economics and Business UNS (Dr. Taufiq Arifin), and Financial Consultant (Sutaryo, M.Si, CA)

The last community service is Webinar “Peer to Peer Lending and Future Challenges” that was held on August 20, 2021 in collaboration with Indonesia Entrepreneurs Association (APINDO). Dr. Irwan Trinugroho (Chairman for UNS Fintech Center), Anto Prabowo (Indonesia Financial Services Authority), and Nurdin Setiawan (General Manager-HRM PT Pan Brothers, Tbk) are invited as a speaker to deliver the material about funding access for SMSEs, credit crunch, and P2P Lending. This webinar was attended by 87 participants.
