SBM ITB successfully held a hybrid Welcoming Undergraduate Student Program SBM ITB 2025 on August 15, 2022. Held in the East Hall of ITB, Ganesha Campus, this event was to welcome new students and socialize SBM ITB.

Acting Dean of SBM ITB, Prof. Jaka Sembiring, was present to give a speech. Prof. Jaka discussed responsibility to oneself to support the fulfillment of student potential.

In charge of presenting the profile of SBM ITB is the Acting Deputy Dean for Resources, Ignatius Pulung Nurprasetio. The profile presented by Pulung includes vision and mission, study programs, double degree programs, and introduction of lecturers.

However, Pulung’s explanation was only brief. Dr. eng. Nur Budi Mulyono, the Director of the Bachelor of Management, continued his presentation of the Undergraduate Management Study Program. The study program has a new curriculum centered on projects, ecosystems, and education 4.0.

According to Budi Mulyono, the program offers an interesting learning experience. Courses provide students with up-to-date information from several sources, including academia, practitioners, government, and the public.

Through the government-supported “Merdeka Belajar” program, students have several possibilities as leaders to improve individual, interpersonal and communication skills and choose what they want to study.

After Budi Mulyono’s explanation, Akbar Adhiutama, Ph.D, the Director of the Entrepreneurship Program, explained the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Study Program. The practical approach of the entrepreneurship program is designed by expert lecturers from the business world and allows students to interact and gain industry experience.

Students will be in an active learning ecosystem where they proactively create opportunities to enhance their learning. To build student business excellence, the Entrepreneurship Program strongly encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration with other majors at ITB. From STEM majors to art and design to spark amazing innovation for student businesses.

In addition, student businesses can also be supported by the business incubator and business laboratory of SBM ITB. Students can leverage the network and get the best practical advice from industry experts and stakeholders.

SBM Student Affairs and SBM ITB Counseling were also explained to new students. Questions and answers and a group photo session concluded the three-hour event.
