Advertising is an effective way to market a product because ads target individuals who are already interested in the product.

Todays, many people shop online, so companies can easily reach these people through the use of online marketing strategies.

Advertising helps a business make a profit by letting more people know about the product or service and generating more sales. On the other hand, consumers will not know about products and services if companies do not advertise them.

Advertising helps customers make decisions regarding the products and services to be purchased. With advertising, customers can determine the best choice.

The benefits of the advertisement were conveyed by Adita Mirza Alexander Lawendatu, a commercial director specializing in producing audiovisual advertising materials. Lawendatu had the opportunity to present in a guest lecture session on Thursday, 11/24/2022, in the Brand Management course at SBM ITB.

Ica Lawendatu explained that the stages he usually takes in making advertisements include the initial brief, namely processing the advertisement concept desired by the client, pre-production, shooting, post-production, to the final result. Ica Lawendatu said that he always tries to provide creative concepts in making advertisements.

Ica avoids miscommunication with the team and clients by making several confirmations so that the ad creation process runs smoothly and with minimal changes.
