Pet & Co, a startup founded by students from the SBM ITB, achieved recognition as The Most Marketable Startup at the Bandung Startup Pitching Day (BSPD) event held at the MBA ITB Jakarta Campus on December 7. This event, a collaboration between the Greater HUB SBM ITB incubation unit and the ITB Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Institute (LPIK), marked the first series of BSPD Jakarta, attracting 15 startups from diverse backgrounds.
Dina Dellyana, Director of The Greater Hub, described BSPD Day as an initiative to provide a platform for startup founders from various regions in Indonesia to showcase their businesses to investors from various venture capital markets. Winners of the nominations had the chance to receive credits worth US$68,000 from AWS, GCP, ID Cloudhost, and Qwords, along with a 3-month incubation opportunity from BLOCK71.
Pet & Co, initiated by four SBM ITB entrepreneurship program students from the class of 2024, namely Andreas Emmanuel Averill, Muhamad Fajrin Mubarok, Maharani Mulyseva, and Meidina Puteri Aginsa, specializes in offering healthy and efficient food for pets. The recognition of Pet & Co as the most marketable startup in the business category reflects the team’s dedicated efforts over the past year since the inception of their business.
Fajrin expressed their excitement: “We feel challenged to participate in this event, and winning the Most Marketable Startup award validates our efforts. We will use this recognition as motivation to develop our startup further.”
In addition to Pet & Co, three other startups received awards: Econella for The Most Impactful Startup, Reason for The Most Innovative Startup, and Opportunity. Pet&Co for The Best Pitch.
