The Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow program at SBM ITB is designed to strengthen research capacity within the school by engaging researchers who demonstrate consistency, productivity, and meaningful scholarly impact in their fields. This position is open to academics and research practitioners who possess a strong scientific publication record and/or institutional endorsement.
Scope of Work
- Assist in conducting joint research activities in accordance with SBM ITB’s research roadmap
- Publish research findings in reputable international scientific journals (Q1)
- Collaborate with both domestic and international researchers
- Research Associates (Full-Time): required to be present at SBM ITB for 40 hours per week on a full-time basis; the appointee must not hold concurrent employment at another institution
- Research Associates (Output-Based): physical presence at SBM ITB is not mandatory, however agreed output targets must be met; the appointee may hold concurrent employment at another institution
- Postdoctoral Research Fellow: required to be present at SBM ITB for 40 hours per week on a full-time basis; the assignment encompasses both research and teaching responsibilities and is short-term in nature
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- At least one article published as first author or corresponding author in a Scopus- or Web of Science-indexed journal ranked Q1
