The “Corporate Culture: KMM ITB Goes to LINE Indonesia” program recently had the chance to explore the LINE Indonesia office in Central Jakarta on Thursday (15/2). BudaKorporat, a program initiated by the Institut Teknologi Bandung (KMM ITB) Management Student Family, aims to offer opportunities for all SBM ITB Management Students and SBM ITB Joint First Stage Students (TPB) to visit renowned companies in Indonesia.

LINE is known for its messaging application and for creating an ecosystem tailored to the needs of today’s youth, particularly Gen-Z, as its primary audience. Hence, the visit not only introduced LINE Indonesia to the attending students but also allowed them to engage in a sharing session with LINE’s Strategy Lead, Nico Dharmaputra. This session discussed topics closely related to contemporary business developments, particularly Digital Technology Innovation.

The students who participated in the visit expressed excitement over the invaluable insights gained from their experience at LINE Indonesia. They felt that their understanding of technological business innovation had significantly deepened.

“I was thrilled to visit the LINE office since I use LINE daily. The visit gave me eye-opening insights into the necessity of continuous innovation to sustain success,” shared Angeline Halim, a Management Student at SBM ITB 2024. “Moreover, the office is incredibly charming, with numerous LINE characters and adorable themed meeting rooms.”

In addition to the insightful sharing session, students were given a tour of the facilities available to LINE Indonesia employees, including the auditorium, meeting rooms, café, co-working spaces, and kitchen area. These facilities are accessible to all LINE Indonesia employees.

The LINE Indonesia office is adorned with various adorable LINE characters such as Cony, Brown, Sally, Choco, James, Jessica, and Moon. These characters serve as the theme for the office space, fostering a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. The visiting students were impressed by the unique office decor, eagerly exploring statues, dolls, and displays of LINE characters while capturing memorable moments through photographs.

“It’s truly exhilarating to witness the enthusiasm first hand at LINE Indonesia. We gained valuable insights into the company’s work culture and career prospects,” remarked Jane Evelyn, a Management Student at SBM ITB 2024. “The session with Kak Nico gave us invaluable insights into business technology and innovation.”

The visit to LINE Indonesia was a memorable and enriching experience for the students, offering them new perspectives on the professional world and career opportunities within renowned technology companies.

In the future, KMM ITB aims to organize more BudaKorporat programs, providing students with opportunities to visit additional prominent companies and further enrich their experiences.
