Bandung Startup Pitching Day 2026 brings dozens of startups together with dozens of investors

The Greater Hub SBM ITB, in collaboration with the Directorate of Science and Technology Area (DKST) ITB, successfully hosted the Bandung Startup Pitching Day (BSPD) on June 4 at the School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung (SBM-ITB), Bandung Campus. The event brought together 21 selected startups and 15 venture capitalists and investors, fostering opportunities for collaboration, investment, and business development.

During the event, startups had the chance to connect with prominent investors, including Angin Foundation, BNI Ventures, Mandiri Capital Indonesia, Rahmania Islamic Social Ventures, Spill Ventures, TNYI, Telkomsel Ventures, MDI Ventures, Impacto, Hasan VC, Genesia Ventures, Init-6 Ventures, and DSX Ventures. This initiative aims to enhance the Bandung startup ecosystem and support innovative ventures in their growth.

Dina Dellyana, Coordinator of The Greater Hub ITB and representative of SBM ITB, expressed her appreciation for all the startups, investors, and partners who participated in BSPD 2026. She also emphasized BSPD’s role as a platform to align the incubation process with industry needs.

“We hope this event can be an opportunity for startups to connect directly with investors. Every input provided is invaluable, not only during the pitching session, but also after the event concludes,” said Dina.

Melia Famiola, Deputy Director for Area Business Development at DKST ITB, highlighted the important role of universities in encouraging innovation, ensuring it doesn’t stop at the research stage. She stated that research must be translated into solutions ready for commercialization, implementation, and sustainable development, generating broader economic and social impacts.

“Universities need to be the driving force of innovation by translating research findings into tangible solutions, bringing them to the community and market, expanding their impact, and creating sustainable economic and social value,” Melia said.

Meanwhile, Eko Agus Prasetio, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at SBM ITB, emphasized that the entrepreneurial spirit remains relevant amid global conditions marked by volatility and uncertainty. He also expressed his appreciation to all partners who continue to support startup development and innovation through collaboration with SBM ITB.

“Amidst conditions full of volatility and uncertainty like today, the entrepreneurial spirit continues to grow thanks to the courage to see opportunities and face challenges. We also appreciate all partners who continue to demonstrate their commitment and collaboration in supporting startup development and innovation,” said Eko.

The 21 startups are developing businesses across education, digital technology, artificial intelligence, agritech, energy, and human resource development. Participating startups included Aleya, ADACareer, Agroboot, Batari Energy, Caraku Academy, COFRE, Concorde Systems, Distrova, Garapdata, Glowhub, HeyAI, KILATSOON, Mantis Agritech, Navigasee, NutriAI, SocialPet.ID, Titik0, Tofly, WearaTech, Welo Hub, and Zyx Academy.

KILATSOON won the Most Innovative Startup award. TOFLY was named Best Pitch. WearaTech received the Most Impactful Startup award. Batari Energy was selected as the Most Marketable Startup.

Meanwhile, in the Artha Speed ​​Dating session, Flame Street Indonesia won the Winner position, followed by Tanabur as First Runner-Up and Natance Corporation as Second Runner-Up. These awards are given to startups that demonstrate strong collaboration potential and appeal to investors during the networking session.

BSPD 2026 highlights the importance of collaboration among startups, investors, academics, and industry partners in enhancing Indonesia’s innovation ecosystem. By presenting solutions that tackle challenges across various sectors, this event fosters an environment for innovation to thrive and paves the way for greater collaboration in the future.
