The School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung (SBM ITB), held the 2026 MSME Coaching Clinic Batch 16 with YGKT48 and Akseleraksi. Approximately 150 participants attended the program at the MBA SBM ITB Amphitheater in Bandung (September 14).

The program, which has been running for eight years, provides business mentoring for three to six months. Participants receive one-on-one coaching sessions, online and offline mentoring, and opportunities to network with other entrepreneurs.
The program aims to help participants identify business issues and set achievable goals. Over five weeks, participants choose a goal, discuss obstacles, and communicate regularly with a mentor.

Coaching sessions are held weekly and last at least 30 minutes. Meetings take place offline from Monday to Wednesday and online from Thursday to Friday.
One method used is GROW, an acronym for Goal, Reality, Options, and Will. This framework helps participants set goals, understand business conditions, consider options, and determine next steps. The program’s effectiveness depends not only on the mentor’s guidance but also on the participants’ ability to translate advice into action.

Amid rising costs, changing consumer behaviour, and pressure on business margins, this program aims to help MSMEs identify problems, test solutions, and measure business progress more systematically.
