Profile

Pri Hermawan received his Doctoral degree from the Department of Value and Decision Science, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2009. He is currently an Associate Professor of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution at the School of Business and Management (SBM), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia. Since February 2023, he has been appointed as the Chairman of the Decision-Making and Strategic Negotiation (DMSN) Research Interest Group at the same school.

In 2022-2023, his research on “Understanding The Model for Energy Transition Ecosystem in Indonesia: Designing Drama-Theoretic Management System in Capturing and Analyzing the dilemmatic situations” was funded by the Overseas Research Grant Program, The Asahi Glass Foundation, Japan. In 2024-2025, his research on Collaborative Involvement of Sustainable Tourism: Capturing and Analyzing Dilemmatic Situation of Tourism Village in Managing Renewable Energy was funded by the Overseas Research Grant, The Asahi Glass Foundation. His current research interest includes Collaborative Decision-Making, Negotiation, Confrontation Analysis, Game-theoretical approach to strategic interactions, and Systems Thinking.
